What is Rotaract
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored club for young men and women ages 18 or above that meets twice a month to exchange ideas, plan activities and projects, and socialize. A Rotaract Club is either community-based or university-based, which is sponsored by a local Rotary Club. Rotary Clubs offer guidance and support, making the Rotaract clubs true “partners in service” and key members of the family of Rotary.
As one of Rotary’s most significant and fastest-growing service partners, more than 8,400 Rotaract Clubs were established in about 170 countries and geographical areas, which made the name of Rotaract become a worldwide phenomenon.
All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities’ physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
